Academy Awards ke-94 telah kembali ke Dolby Theater di Hollywood bagi memberi penghargaan kepada penggiat-penggiat filem terbaik.
Oscars 2022 telah dihoskan oleh Reginal Hall, Amy Schumer dan Wanda Sykes yang mana mereka akan mengumumkan pemenang bagi semua kategori yang dipertandingkan
Acara Academy Awards berlangsung pada hari Isnin jam 9.00 malam waktu Malaysia di yang dibawakan oleh ABC dan dipancarkan menerusi Showcase Movies dan Astro Go.
Format kali ini sedikit berbeza apabila lapan anugerah (kurang popular) diumumkan satu jam sebelum siaran utama, termasuk dokumentari pendek, penyuntingan filem, solek dan dandanan rambut, skor asal, reka bentuk pengeluaran, animasi pendek, aksi langsung dan bunyi (pendek).
