Senarai Penuh Calon Oscars Ke-92 Bagi Tahun 2020

Pertama kali dalam sejarah perfilem Malaysia, dimana kami (rakyat Malaysia) menunggu-nunggu keputusan akhir bagi calon yang akan memasuki pusingan akhir bagi Anugerah Akademik atau lebih terkenal dengan Anugerah Oscars. Sebab apa?

Ini kerana, buat pertama kali filem Malaysia tercalon dalam 35 filem terawal dalam anugerah yang berprestij ini iaitu melalui filem animasi tempatan, Upin & Ipin: Keris Siamang Tunggal. Sejurus dicalonkan dalam pusingan awal, filem tersebut juga telah ditayangkan di Hollywood denga alih bahasa kepada bahasa Inggeris.

Walaupun Ipin & Ipin tidak berjaya tercalon dalam pusinga akhir ini, tetapi ianya pencapaian yang boleh dibanggakan. Buat pertama kali tercalon dalam pusingan awal Oscars. Tetapi calon Asia menerusi filem Parasite lebih membanggakan selepas banyak tercalon dalam pelbagai kategori dan paling menarik adalah tercalon dalam Filem Terbaik (Best Picture)
